We ventured into Maharashtra and found that the need for good buses for daily commute was far greater. It is the country's second-most-populous state and third-largest state by area. The state covers 307,731 km2 or 9.84 percent of India's total area. At 267,452 kilometres, Maharashtra has India's largest road network. In March 2018, 99.5 percent of the state's villages were connected by all-weather roads. Thus making it ideal for providing transportation services through a network of public and private buses. The Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) has been providing public-sector road passenger service since 1948, linking most of the state's towns and villages in a large network. These buses, popularly known as ST (State Transport), are the preferred mode of transport for much of Maharashtra's population. Applying the same model of providing the best quality buses on contractual basis for the different types buses that the MSRTC runs, we inaugurated Arham Transportation Pvt. Ltd. We started with about 75 employees, catering to all the needs of MSRTC, and today, we have grown to employ over 150 employees, dutifully fulfilling the needs of the daily commuters.
